Students include children, young people & adults - and anyone interested in enrichment through lifelong musical learning. As well as offering instruction in piano and guitar, we also offer specialty instrument training in the Fife, Auto Harp, and Harmonica. Everyone has a chance to be a part of the group and bring music back into their lives. We have a wonderful team of talented and qualified instructors. Top Note hosts Music Camps throughout the summer. Rock Band, Drum Set, Bass Guitar, String Bass, Brass, Lower Brass, for Advanced and Intermediate students. Anyone who plays a woodwind, brass, percussion or string bass instrument is encouraged to join in on the fun! 2A Community Band
Under the direction of Teena Trick-Wilks and Barry Valleau, the group started in September of 2017 and with a year under their belt, will be known as the 2A Community Band.

The exciting thing about this band is that it brings together musicians from Mountain View County and beyond - musicians who loved playing as youngsters and are thrilled to be back playing as adults.
There's no substitute for live work to keep a band together.

2020 Community Band Season
We started in September of 2017.As soon as we know a start date for Fall 2020, we will post it here and on our Facebook page. Rehearsals take place at the Didsbury High School Music Room, from 6:30 - 8 pm. The High School is located at 1515 - 15th Avenue in Didsbury.

The 2A Jazz Band meets 8 - 9 pm on Mondays, also at the DHS Music Room.

Heard after our performance at the Water Valley Celtic Festival
"I think the 2A Band gets high marks. They are a community band that really tried to live up to the spirit of the festival. All you have to do is look at their set list and see that right away. Out of 9 tunes at least 8 were Irish and maybe the 9th was also. If you can imagine it, they had nearly 30 members. Impressive."
